BEST ITALIAN INTERIOR DESIGN EXHIBITION
An Award to our Philosophy
Our project, Porta Romana 19 owned by Gruppo Unipol, will be exhibited at the “Best Italian Interior Design” Exhibition which will take place during the 17th Architecture Biennale, scheduled in Venice from 22 May to 22 August 2021. This recognition rewards the integration between architecture and interior design, a recurring quality in our projects. At VGA’s we have always interpreted interior design as a real “interior architecture”, which goes beyond the purely decorative aspects. The sequence between full and empty spaces, the relationship between volumes, the presence of greenery, the clarity of circulation and simplicity of movement, transparency, and light, are founding elements, which must inspire and raise emotions. Indoor sustainability certifications such as the WELL Building Standard or the BREEAM in Use confirm that this is the correct attitude. Design should place people at the center of its research.
Il nostro progetto Porta Romana 19, di proprietà del Gruppo Unipol, sarà esposto alla mostra “Best Italian Interior Design” che si svolgerà durante la 17° Biennale di Architettura, in programma a Venezia dal 22 maggio al 22 agosto 2021. Questo riconoscimento premia l’integrazione tra architettura e interior design, una qualità ricorrente nei nostri progetti. Da sempre in VGA interpretiamo l’interior design come una vera e propria “architettura degli interni”, che va al di là degli aspetti puramente decorativi. La sequenza tra i pieni e vuoti, il rapporto tra i volumi, la presenza del verde, la chiarezza dei percorsi e la semplicità di movimento, la trasparenza e la luce, sono elementi fondatori, che devono ispirare ed emozionare. Certificazioni di sostenibilità degli ambienti interni come il WELL Building Standard o il BREEAM in Use confermano come questo sia l’atteggiamento corretto. La progettazione deve porre le persone al centro della propria ricerca.
